Adult RE
There are several different groups that might fall under the umbrella of "Adult Religious Education," since we all like to continue learning! Some of them are listed under the "Groups" folder, under "Activities".
Adult RE Study Group
The Adult Religious Education Study Group meets weekly on Thursday nights from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Curriculum varies from Native American religious practices to Evolution. Please contact Gary P. for information on current curricula or just come by and join us.
Black Canyon Adult RE
This group meets in the Delta area on the first Wednesday of the month. The format is a potluck dinner at 6pm followed by discussion of readings or topics. Contact John S. for information on where to meet and what they are discussing.
Book Club
Meets the 1st Sunday of the Month after the Coffee Time (12:00) in the Sanctuary. The group reads a different book each month and meets to discuss it. Contact Duane C. or Marge O. to get the name of the current book.
Short Story Group
Meets every other Monday evening (1st and 3rd Mondays) at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. The group purchases a collection of short stories and works its way through, reading two stories (about 40 pages) to discuss in two weeks. Contact Ed H. to find out what book we're using.
