Board Report

I spent the summer leading an enneagram class based on spiritual personality types. We had three people who regularly attended, resulting in a wonderful group chemistry and some friendships forming.

At the end of the last class, two of the members requested keeping the group together to study family systems theory and work on some personal family issues. This will be a closed group that will be meeting on Tuesday mornings for six weeks.

I am also meeting regularly with one member of the congregation for on-going pastoral care.

We have enough volunteers to teach the Religious Education classes this summer. I am hoping to help co-teach the High School OWL program this year if I can find a male partner to co-facilitate. I have a call in to Jay Martinez & Tim O’Brien but I have not heard back from them yet.

There is a youth con coinciding with the MDD Annual meeting in Colorado Springs in October. Joanie Leinbach has offered to chaperone the youth.
